noun 1. any nourishing substance that is eaten, drunk, or otherwise taken into the body to sustain life, provide energy, promote growth, etc food. such a simple word, yet it's those four letters that put me here where i am today. just a food obsessed, culinary freak, teenage girl. as the ten year old with wide eyes watched the food network, dreaming of the day when she would have a chance to make it in the culinary world she was determined to not give up. six years later, and here i am still waiting, still working towards the ultimate goal. french culinary institute, i'm coming.
